Active solution!

For most SAN & Data Centre connections, ANS Passive solutions offer best in class performance at excellent service delivery price points. There are however, some instances when an active solution is required, such as longer distances between sites or if a switch vendor restricts the use of alternative transceivers in their equipment.

1. Insert coloured SFP in your Switch


2. Connect coloured SFP to the destinated coloured slot of the MUX/DMUX.


3. Connect Dark Fiber to the MUX/DMUX on each site


Optical add-drop multiplexers (OADM) are used in multiplexing and routing different channels of light into or out of a single mode fiber.

Multiplex your fibre - CWDM and DWDM
